Dr. Jun Liu is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at North Carolina State University. Prior to this, he was a postdoctoral research associate in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, under Prof. David G. Cahill‘s supervision. He received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from University of Colorado at Boulder in December 2013, under the guidance of Prof. Ronggui Yang. He earned his B.S. in 2008 from Power and Energy Engineering at Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
